Company Profile
Borden Electrics is owned by Dave Borden, who established the business in August 1987 thanks to a £1,000 loan from his grandmother, Esther (yes, he has paid her back). Dave’s mum Benita took charge of answering the phones in those early days while Dave built his outstanding reputation as an electrician based on three guiding principles: free estimates, fair prices and prompt attention. Those principles are still applied today, decades later.
Dave’s first job as owner of his new business was rewiring a house in Greystones. Nowadays, Borden’s is constantly rewiring and partially rewiring homes across Sheffield.
Dave’s firm has a team of administration staff and highly qualified, apprentice-served electricians. Most have been with Borden’s since leaving school, and the average length of service is 14 years.
Our NICEIC accreditation is your guarantee that we are electrical contractors who work to the highest standards.
