Borden Electrics Sheffield specialises in all kinds of domestic electrical work, including full and partial house rewires. House rewiring is one of our specialities. We love rewiring properties, and take great pride in keeping dust and disturbance to a minimum.

Over the years we have rewired many hundreds of houses in and around Sheffield, ranging from two-up-two-downs and one-bedroomed flats (that require only four electrical circuits and a few days' work), to Victorian mansions. One large bungalow at Whirlow needed 100 electrical circuits - which took us three months to install.

All domestic electrical rewires need a full test every 10 years.

We offer a thorough test and inspection service, and are happy to give free advice on the best ways to make safe old electrical installations.

All our vans are fitted out with cleaning equipment and dust sheets. Clearing up is a vital part of any job. We plaster-patch, and make good to all chases.

The consumer units, sockets and switches we install are fully guaranteed. All our jobs, from a full rewire to re-locating a socket, are covered by full NICEIC certification, and guaranteed.
For house rewires we issue a 10-year NICEIC certificate.
